Tamping rods
Tamping rods are indispensable accessories for loading blast holes. They are made out of antistatic ABS plastic. Two ranges of tamping rod are available:

1. Tamping rods equipped with a cord:
Supplied with a 25 metre polypropylene cord, available in 2 diameters: 53 mm and 63 mm.

2. Tulip-shaped and cylindrical tamping rods:
Available in 2 diameters: ø 16/22 - 22/27 and ø 26/32 - 33 /40.

Tape multimeters
Multimeters are accessories that allow the depth of blast holes and the level of explosive charge to be measured. They are supplied in the form of a flexible 4 mm external diameter tube with graduations every 10 cm for the first meter and every 50 cm for the remaining length. The multimeters are 30 m long and have a light yet sturdy hand winder and a lead ballast fixed at the end. Covered in polyethylene tubing, they are very sturdy and have excellent abrasion resistance. There is no risk of the user injuring his/her hands. They are also very resistant to bending.
Advantages: robust, versatile, completely safe and user friendly (thanks to the winder and the colour coded depth readings.

DIGHOM digital ohmmeter
The DIGHOM circuit tester is specially designed for use in difficult conditions encountered in mines, quarries and civil engineering works for checking electrical firing circuits. The DIGHOM, which uses an easy to read liquid crystal digital display, is technically approved for testing on rock faces by the French authorities (French MA 8/84 technical approval). The device comes in a plastic box that is impact resistant, anti-static, and crush resistant. Power is supplied by a single alkaline cell suitable for 10,000 to 20,000 measurements.
