THE MANUFACTURE AND DISTRIBUTION OF EXPLOSIVES FOR NON-MILITARY APPLICATIONS

Nobel Explosifs France commercialises a complete range of explosives and pyrotechnic blasting accessories through a network of 17 distribution centres in France and Belgium, ensuring customers in the quarrying and public works sectors are provided with a local yet highly efficient service.
NEF's management is dedicated to export, ensuring highly efficient logistics for the supply of explosives, pyrotechnic accessories and services throughout the world.

URBAN RENEWAL

NOBEL EXPLOSIFS FRANCE plays a leading role in urban renewal programs that make use of explosives to demolish apartment buildings, concrete or metal industrial buildings or various constructions such as chimneys, bridges, pillboxes, etc.

NOBEL EXPLOSIFS FRANCE's engineers and technicians provide technical assistance to companies in drawing up demolition plans, in the use of explosives, in assuring quality control and good working practices in most types of building demolition operations in urban areas using different methods such as complete demolition by implosion (Chimney film), semi-demolition (Minguette film) or toppling (Stacell film). NOBEL EXPLOSIFS France is equipped with modern, high performance blasting equipment, guaranteeing perfect control of demolition kinetics and any environmental nuisances caused by blasting operations.

BLASTING SUPPORT SERVICES

The highly trained teams of engineers and technicians in Nobel Explosifs France, Nobel Explosifs Belgique and their specialised subsidiary Explo-Tech are available to provide assistance and back up services to customers on all aspects of blasting operations, including:

  •  audits and studies: optimisation of blasting operations and improvement of results, design of blasting patterns, quarry audits, etc.

  •  assistance in reducing nuisances such as vibrations and noise.

  •  blasting operations design and execution: blasting in urban areas, special blasting operations, cutting of rock slopes, sequential blasting, theodolite measurements for blasting operations, selective blasting operations with controlled projections.

  •  control and measurement of blasting operations: rock mass characterisations, particle size measurements of rock piles, volume calculations of rock piles, emission face velocity measurements, load chronometrics, vibration and noise measurements, films, etc.

  •  sale and hire of vibration recorders, laser theodolytes, deviation measurement devices, etc.

  •  basic and advanced training in blasting techniques: firing methods and principles, controlling environmental nuisances, blasting mechanisms, drilling patterns, blasting pattern design, sequential blasting, etc.

  •  preparation for the CPT (French Shotfirer's Certificate) (basic CPT + options N° 1, 7 and 8 and refresher course).

    Nobel Explosifs France is an approved organization of formation. For this reason the subscribed formations are deductible within the framework from the obligatory vocational training.

DRILLING & BLASTING

Through its agencies specialised in drilling & blasting, Nobel Explosifs France (FOREMINE) and Nobel Explosifs Belgique (CEFOR/CEFRAMINE) offers its client high quality services in the drilling-blasting sector (pneumatic and hydraulic drilling, out of hole and base of hole percussion) and strengthening of rock slopes (passive anchoring, grillwork, sprayed concrete, etc.).
